Exploring Ceramics for Teens

Discover the magic and endless possibilities of clay!

In this new class for teens, explore a variety of hand-building methods and techniques as you learn the art of ceramics.  Teens will be able to create vessels that hold food, water, or plants as well creating sculptural forms. Transform clay with stamping, carving, burnishing and glazing techniques into functional and decorative treasures that can be enjoyed for years to come. Squish, wiggle, poke, roll, stretch and pinch clay into ceramic mugs, animals, tiny houses and more.

• Session 5: Buidling in Clay
• Session 6: Glaze Ceramic Pieces

Class fees includes instruction, all materials, and firing on-wite. Class meets for 6 sessions. No previous clay experience is required.
